Bedazzling has made a comeback, and it’s officially my new obsession! Rhinestones, glitter, and glam have completely taken over my FYP! To be honest.. I wasn’t sure how much I would enjoy this craft, especially as a minimalist girl. Needless to say, lately, I’ve been enjoying the sparkles and saying goodbye to my minimalist tendencies.

What Kind of Glue Do You Use to Bedazzle Stuff?

The best glue I’ve used for my bedazzling projects is B7000. Be sure to buy the B7000 with the precision tip; it allows you to place the glue exactly where you need it, and makes applying jewels SO much easier!

Ive also heard B6000 is another great option for crafting. Both have a strong hold and dry clear, making them ideal for securely adhering rhinestones to plastic, fabric, and metal.

You can find these glues on Amazon (click the links above) or at retailers like Walmart, Target, and local craft stores such as Michaels and Hobby Lobby.

What to Bedazzle for Beginners?

As a beginner, you’ll find that bedazzling small, flat-surfaced items is easier and more enjoyable. Some good options to start with include phone cases, picture frames, sunglasses, and notebooks. When I first began, I tried bedazzling my 40 oz Stanley cup, and boy, did it take me forever to finish, haha!

I highly recommend starting small so that you don’t get intimidated and abandon the project. While this hobby is relatively easy to pick up, be patient with yourself, as it can take several hours to complete a piece. The most important part is to have fun!!

Not going to lie, my Stanley took FOREVER to badazzle, and I am not sure why, haha. If you’re a beginner, I recommend waiting a bit before starting this project, as I wouldn’t want you to feel discouraged and not enjoy the process.
